Update about CORE February 2022
Another very busy month for me personally and relatively little new here.
- General CORE issues
* CORE instruments, work based in UDLA, to provide a full and updating bibliography of publications about or using CORE instruments continues to progress with over 350 publications identified and the data structure for the first paper and the regularly updated online search interface progressing well. - Translations
* Urdu: CORE-OM PDFs mounted here.
* Qualitative work looking at the suitability of the Spanish YP-CORE translation for use in Latin America is nearing completion - Web site
* Translations of pages on the main site continue into Spanish, French, Portuguese/Brasilian, Arabic and Finnish continue slowly using automatic translation so some pages continue to need proofreading. With Sula and Luma, we think we have solved some of the challenges of improving the not very good AI translations into Arabic. As ever, do please contact me if you could help with that or with adding any other language.
* The subsite in Finnish is now live with some cosmetics still being tweaked and the subsite in Brasilian/Portuguese is now very near to launching. Again do contact me if you might be interested in running a subsite about CORE in any other language: we are getting more familiar with creating a site and with supporting you to run it. - Tangential
* SPR(UK) hosted the online launch of the OMbook, presentation slides, a summary of the Q&A and a recording of the presentation are here.
* I have started a developing post in my Rblog about pre-post analyses here which may be of interest to CORE users. That will be developing over the next month.
