There are over 70 languages spoken in Pakistan but Urdu is the primary official language (with English). Although it is the primary official language it is very much a minority language spoken as their first language by only c.9% of the population. That unusual in my experience of languages and countries.
We now have a final, approved translation which has been through the entire CORE translation process though to qualitative field testing in Pakistan and our paper describing the translation process and describing the particular issues involved in translating such a questionnaire into Urdu for use in Pakistan and across the Pakistani, Urdu literate diaspora is now published.
