The CORE-A is not a measure, it’s a practitioner completed form that was designed (by the official launch of the CORE system in 1998) to try to standardise the data that might be collected to provide crucial context to self-report change data from clients. The “A” is for assessment. It had two form, each two sides of one page of A4 in those paper days. They were:
- CORE-A (TAF): Therapy Assessment Form
- – to be completed after assessment
- CORE-A (EoT) End of Therapy – to be completed at, guess what …. the end of therapy
